General Info

Tucked along W Yosemite Ave, Texas Country Breakfast & Lunch is the kind of casual spot that feels familiar even on a first visit. It’s a straightforward restaurant where the focus is clearly on comfort food, an easygoing atmosphere, and a menu style that leans into classic breakfast and lunch favorites rather than anything overcomplicated.

Walking in, the vibe is relaxed and unpretentious, making it a natural choice for solo dining when you just want a quiet meal without any pressure. At the same time, it still works well for small groups or families, especially since it’s described as good for kids, which shows in the overall welcoming setup and laid-back pacing of service.

The menu here follows a traditional diner rhythm-hearty breakfast plates in the morning and simple, satisfying lunch options as the day goes on. You’ll notice quickly that this is not a place trying to reinvent the wheel; instead, it focuses on familiar comfort food done in a way that feels consistent and dependable. That sense of reliability is often what keeps a neighborhood restaurant like this popular with locals.

Coffee is a standout part of the experience. Having great coffee available throughout the visit adds to the diner-style feel, whether you’re sitting down for a full breakfast or just stopping in for a quick midday break. It pairs naturally with the slower pace of the dining room, where people tend to linger a little, sip, and unwind.

Service options are also practical and flexible. You can enjoy dine-in service if you want the full sit-down experience, or choose delivery when staying in feels more convenient. That mix makes it easy to access the menu in different situations, whether it’s a weekend breakfast at the table or a weekday lunch brought straight to your door.

The overall impression is a restaurant that understands its role in the community-simple food, steady service, and a comfortable space that doesn’t try too hard. It works well for early risers looking for a solid breakfast, remote workers grabbing coffee and a quick bite, or families needing an easy lunch stop without complications.

Texas Country Breakfast & Lunch keeps things grounded in the basics, and that’s exactly what gives it its appeal, especially when you’re in the mood for something familiar and filling without unnecessary extras.

What customers say?

“ This place is a gem! Me and my work buddy were blown away by how good the food is. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. We can't wait to come back and try more of the meals. The menu is simple with creative options. I tried the Texas Benedict and he tried the cheeseburger. Whoever's in the kitchen has skills. The service was excellent as well. Bravo ”

“ 10/10 – Highly Recommend We’ve come to Texas Country Breakfast and Lunch two days in a row while stuck for RV repairs, and every dish has been amazing. We tried the country fried steak, filet mignon eggs benedict, and chilaquiles with red sauce and carnitas — all 10/10. The owner stopped by to welcome us and shared that everything is made from scratch, never frozen, and you can really taste the quality. If we could give more stars, we would. Highly recommend to travelers and locals! ”

“ Anyone that’s made a bad review is an anomaly or simply doesn’t know what a good restaurant is. I am beyond impressed and blown away quite frankly at the execution of the half/half chilaquiles with tri tip. Portion is huge but more importantly it’s delicious! Chef comes out as I’m a couple bites in and is like “you look like you want something spicy”, he comes back with what I presume to be some sort of homemade habanero sauce that absolutely put it over the top for me as I was neglecting the hot sauce bottles at the table so as to not affect the delicious flavor of the plate. Had a side order of French toast that was perfectly cooked as dessert and I mean it was perfectly moist with the right amount of toasted areas. 100% recommend will be back when I drove through the town again. ”
